1/4/20 8/100 Watercraft with Trailer

Matchbox wasn’t shy of introducing some new trailers in the larger 1-100 line and even selling it by themselves!  This Watercraft with trailer was introduced in 1999 and returns for 2000 with new colors and with the trailer that holds the boat (the trailer is plastic) it can attach to any Matchbox vehicle with a trailer hitch.  The boat is based on the Sea-doo watercraft that takes the idea of a motorcycle seating position attached to a lower hull for lots of fun on the open seas with cornering and fast reflexes that no other boat can match.  The boat is metal on metal and makes up most of the heft compared to the lighter trailer, though it does not float on water due to the added weight.  Once again this is more for a display purpose towed by another vehicle than any functionality with this casting, hence this casting was short-lived but not without a variation that lacks the white-stamped 5-spoke wheels on the trailer.
