1/7/20 11/100 1999 Chevrolet Silverado pickup

Before I begin with the next vehicle, this is the only series out of the 20 segments offered where all of the vehicles that I have contain the Matchbox logo.  The Chevy Silverado was a new casting in 1999 based on the smoother styling of the new Silverado in extended cab with stepside form, and while the welcome return of a stock ride height Chevy truck is appreciated Matchbox also continued to offer the lifted version and for 2000 only the lifted Silverado returns.  I like the level of details on this casting from the chrome grille with headlights to the boxy cab and right down to the smooth stepside bed with functional bed.  The interior has seating for five with detailed dashboard, center console, and since this is a 1999 version the lines for the rear passenger side door.  The downside of this lifted truck is no trailer hitch and slower handling, but still it’s a great truck.  The lifted Silverado ran for a few more years before the stock ride height version reappeared and still continues to this date.
