4/21/20 Canyon Base 5-pack

Canyon Base 5-pack is another adventurous set just like the Camp Jeep set for camping, though this one has more RV’s in it and one of them premiered first before the regular 1-100 version did.  That would be the pop-up camper with its innovative pop-up roof and great details inside, and if you’re confused where this camper should hook up to consider the same green and tampo job as found on the 1998 Land Rover Freelander, also in matching colors and with excellent details including a howling wolf on the doors.  However, the camper can attach to another vehicle in the set, the Truck Camper in a nice solid white with red trim details.  Yes, it does seem odd that a larger camper would carry a smaller camper, but that would appear to be the case with a trailer hitch at the rear along with an opening side door.  Oddly enough the sea boat lacks a trailer to hook up to the truck camper or the Land Rover, nor does it have the skier at the back that attaches to the boat, but it does fit with the camping lifestyle on the lake in blue interior with black metal hull.  The final vehicle seems to be an oddity and suffers from the same overly done graphics as the 1-100 release, the 1970 Chevy El Camino.  Sporting red with detailed headlights and fishing graphics on the sides it seems simple enough but without a trailer hitch and off-set color that does not match the rest of the set it seemed more of an outside than the rest of the vehicles in the set.
