4/4/20 99/100 GMC Topkick Bucket Truck

This was a casting that originally had a short life, but was resurrected with few changes to continue on for another few years and replaced the Ford Utility Truck, the GMC Bucket Truck.  Based on the Topkick platform with tall hood that contains the silver grille with red GMC logo and silver for the headlights, while the cab has one strobe light and no interior and six wheels that would be the only use as a later tooling reduced the number of wheels down to four.  The back of the truck contains a utility bed with detailed lockers; taillights and diamond plate patter all connect to the cab in a dark blue color.  The white boon arm raises, lowers, and rotates 360 degrees much like the Ford Utility Truck, yet the GMC loses one of the cherry buckets in favor of a cherry bucket/auger hybrid setup.  This casting would’ve been a great addition to the line, but after this use the casting ended up with some issues (possible cost cutting???) so a retool was used in 2005 that used one less axle but still had all of the same details and functions as before.  The GMC Topkick is still in use today, but on a different scale: the next-generation Topkick is larger and fits in with the Real Working Rigs as a tree trimming truck or as an attenuator truck.
